While this year’s Great Candy Run Denver on November 10th will usher in many exciting changes, many long-time sponsors remain the same, including the Colorado Institute for Maternal and Fetal Health (CIMFH). A partnership between Children’s Hospital Colorado, the University of Colorado Hospital and the University of Colorado School of Medicine, CIMFH offers mothers, babies and their families comprehensive care and treatment before, during and after high-risk or routine pregnancies.
“CIMFH is a perfect partner for this event and the Foundation, mainly because we both work really hard to ensure that parents have the best outcome possible,” said Fetal Health CEO and Founder Lonnie Somers.
Voted the #1 5K in all of Colorado in 2009, the event is set for Sunday, November 10 at Washington Park and anticipates a crowd of more than 3,500. Participants will enjoy a nostalgic event filled with on-course entertainment, cash prizes, a costume contest, and the sweetest finish ever, plus refreshments, games, and activities at its post-race Family Festival and Expo. All proceeds benefit the Fetal Health Foundation.
